Fondue and Camping
My goal for the year is to start blogging more! I have not been too good at this in the past. So here it goes!!!!!
We started the evening with some fondue, it was so yummy we had bananas, strawberries, marshmellows, grahmcrackers, and pound cake it was sooo fun everyone had fun dipping there special treats!
We got daddy a tent this year for Christmas in hopes we will go camping so we decided to go camping in our living room. We had no idea that the tent would not fit in our family room so we moved it outside. I was a little worried but went with it. It was quite a bit of fun but in the very early morning we moved it in the house mommas hips and back was HURTING!!! My husband strategically placed my side of the tent on lumpy earth!!! What an experience we had a great time and cant wait to go camping "for real"! I will have an airmattress with me next time.

My floor renew!!!
Ok I had a wild hair the other day and decided to bust just a small corner of my pantry just to make sure that I was correct and that there was in fact hardwood under the tile and vinyl flooring. Well I was right! So one of my friends stopped by (Kim) and said just finish the pantry so I busted some more up. I then called my husband and this was the convo
Me:hey babe
Him:hey what do you need I am very busy right now!
Me:ya know how we always wanted to know what was under the tile floors in our kitchen?
Him:yea
Me:your not going to believe it but it is beautiful hardwood just like we thought!
Him:Mandi how do you know this????
Me:well I busted up a small part of the pantry and found out
Him:I am not having this conversation with you
So he got home and protested and said that I had messed up our kitchen floors and my thought was we hated them anyways! I waited until he was at work on a long shift that Saturday and finished the floors, I did have a little help though. After much busting and pulling and scrapping and dont forget painting it was done! The next day someone spilled a little water and the paint peeled off I freaked out just knowing that our floor was not in good shape it looked great though (except where it was peeling!) I called Lowes and the paint manager said that the guy on the floor told me wrong and she would have to call Valspar to find out how to fix my floors. I soooo did not want to hear that knowing that I was going to have to listen to my husband say he knew it would be messed up and why couldnt I just leave well enough alone! (I love ya babe) so they called me back and told me how to fix it and now I well we my husband and I love it!!!!!

Look what Santa brought!
Well better late than never! I know that it is a little late to be blogging about Christmas but I am catching up. I have quite a bit to blog about. This was Christmas night before the girls woke up to their big surprise.

Maddie's Big dance recital
Well last night was the big night for Maddie! Her dance recital went wonderful. She has worked very hard this year and it really shows. Our girls this year went to competition this yr for there dance to Annie's Harn Knock Life it was awesome. They won gold first place for the show, I am a very proud momma! Tonight they did that dance and also Mary Poppins Spoon Full of Sugar. This next yr the are starting a competitive team for our girls and it is going to be exciting. Also this yr Rae will start ballet and I can't wait cosidering she danced more than anyone last night. She danced to every song:0) What a great evening. My niece also takes dance and is a wonderful dancer. The one picture of Maddie is with one of her teacher that we all know and love deeply Ms. Jesi!
